Recipe of the Week: Crispy Chicken Bourekas with a Refreshing Dill Pickle Salad

Enjoy a quick, crowd-pleasing dish that combines flaky bourekas and juicy chicken, paired with a tangy dill pickle salad. All ingredients are on sale this week at Glatt Mart!

Ingredients (Serves 4–6):

  • Ta’amti Bourekas – $7.49

  • Of Tov Fry Chicken (32 oz) – $13.99

  • Schtark Shredded Cheese (8 oz) – $3.99

  • Bubbies Pickles (33 oz) – $7.99

  • Jumbo Carrots (1 lb) – $0.79

  • Medium Apples (1 lb) – $0.99

  • Sadaf Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1L) – $11.99

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bourekas: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place the Ta’amti Bourekas on the tray, sprinkle Schtark Shredded Cheese on top, and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.

  2. Cook the Chicken: In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of Sadaf Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium heat. Add the Of Tov Fry Chicken and cook for 8–10 minutes per side, until crispy and cooked through.

  3. Make the Salad: In a large bowl, slice Bubbies Pickles into thin rounds. Grate the Jumbo Carrots and dice the Medium Apples. Toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt for a tangy, refreshing salad.

  4. Assemble & Serve: Plate the crispy chicken alongside the bourekas and dill pickle salad. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill (if desired) and enjoy!
